Welcome to my website!
My name is Daisuke Tanaka, a second-year Ph.D. student in the High Pressure Science Group (Shigemori-Lab) at the Institute of Laser Engineering.
My current research focuses on creating extreme states known as ultrahigh-energy states by irradiating nanowire arrays with ultrahigh-intensity lasers. For more details, please refer to the research content on our lab's website.
In my fourth year of undergraduate study, I conducted implosion experiments based on a new laser fusion method called shock ignition.
On this website, I summarize my research outcomes (Papers, Presentations, and Awards).

I started chorus activity in a male chorus group called the Osaka University Male Choir during my university days. I never imagined I would be involved in choir singing before enrolling, but as the years go by, I feel increasingly engrossed, especially in male choral singing.
Currently, I am singing not only in the Osaka University Male Choir but also in groups called CancaoNova and Man de Rart.
I have never met anyone in the plasma field who also sings in a choir, but if you happen to be one, I would be delighted to chat with you.
